BTS's V has proven his global popularity by ranking first in the 'KDOL' global popularity poll service for the first week of January 2025.
V claimed the top spot for the first week of 2025, reaffirming his unwavering popularity.
In the weekly ranking for the first week of January 2025 on the global K-pop idol popularity poll 'KDOL,' V achieved 307,103,581 hearts, securing the number one position. Notably, on his birthday, December 30, fans sent over 280 million votes, showing their immense love and support for V, who is currently serving in the military.
Jimin from BTS ranked second with 64,096,205 hearts, while Jeongwon from ENHYPEN placed third with 19,018,332 hearts. Kazuta from N-Sign and Jin from BTS followed in fourth and fifth place, earning 14,580,900 hearts and 10,491,534 hearts, respectively.
KDOL is a global popularity voting service where fans vote for K-pop idols to determine rankings. Fans from the US, Japan, Southeast Asia, South Korea, and around the world participate, and the votes are reflected 100% in the rankings, which are tallied in real-time. Voting is reset every day at midnight (KST), and rankings are determined by daily, weekly, and monthly votes, with accumulated votes leading to the Hall of Fame.
